Like anything else involving water, sprinkler systems can freeze-up if the temperature drops below a certain point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You should be aware that a freeze failure may occur any time the temperature is below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. This is the freezing point for water, and depending on where you live, it is likely to have several times throughout the winter. Although a pipe may rupture, the water inside is frozen, so you won\u2019t notice it leaking right away. Once the temperature rises, you will have a leak on your hands.
